Do the chips need to be reset?
Yes, These chips register the same amount of ink per cartridge as an OEM & when
empty are reset by removing either the cartridge pack from the printer or by
removing the lid sensor button.
What is the purpose of the Battery?
The chip set for the workforce range contains a CR2032 3 Volt Lithium battery.
It is specially designed to ensure that the battery does not to put any extra
weight or pressure on the print head & ensure there is no damage to the printer
allowing it to function as normal
Do the chips come attached to cartridges?
No, This is a chip set only. Cartridges are not included with purchase
but can be
purchased separately here
