Important Information!
This is a great start, but dont forget you will also need a suitable printer, either a CISS or refillable cartridges to deliver the inks to your printer, a heat press, sublimation blanks, teflon tape to keep the item in place when heat pressing the item and a teflon mat. Restrictions!
Suitable with light colours: Be it a T-shirt, mug, drink bottle, internal signage or even tiles, sublimation works best on a white background. In saying this, any lighter shade is fine, and its possible to print on dark materials, its just best on white :)
Polyester garments centric: Most fabrics around today are "cotton-like" or a Polycotton mix, so you won't have an issue finding these. Its the Polyester that makes things "sublimatable" so no 100% cotton here - sorry guys!
Must use Sublimation Blanks: It's true, you can print on almost anything as long as it has a sublimation coating on it. So picking up a box of your favorite mugs from K-mart at a discount price isn't going to cut it. Sublimation blanks are available everywhere, yet if you need help, get in contact!
