HALF BOX 500 Sheets - A4 Matte Vinyl Printable Sticker Paper (Clear Film Backed)

A collection of our clear backed inkjet vinyl papers have been damaged during production. Although it’s incredibly minor & does not seem to affect the final print, it’s not 100% which means its not Rihac quality approved.
It is incredibly hard to photograph as the concern as it is predominantly on the reflective clear backing sheet, yet if you look very closely you can see a slight press mark caused when the label was adhered to the final packaging.
Please note that the tiny micro-bubbles which are visible on the back of the papers are not the defect. They are completely normal allowing for removal of the backing sheet. The printable front sheet is perfectly smooth as per all our vinyl papers.

Due to the production process, using a clear film backing (instead of paper backing) produces a subtly higher Matte finish. When measured using a gloss meter, the clear film backed vinyl has a gloss level of 3GU (gloss units) where the Matte vinyl with the paper backing has a lower gloss level of 2GU.






The vinyl is available in three different layer options, Matte, Goss or Pearl. The Matte and Gloss options has a higher degree of whiteness than our pearl finish vinyl, though with the pearl vinyl we are able to achieve a higher gloss level of 75GU. The pearl product has a finish where the printed ink looks like it is under the gloss layer and best described as subtly iridescent




This media is ideal for printing photo quality water-resistant stickers, decals and labels using home inkjet printers. This product is not suitable for laser printers. The media is made from a PP vinyl film and not PVC like other products. PVC contains around 30% by weight of Chlorine and produces toxic fumes if incinerated. PP on the other hand will generate only carbon dioxide and water making it a much more eco friendly product in both production and waste.




There are some considerations before purchasing this product. We strongly recommend buying a 5pce sample pack before making a larger purchase to test the product in your printer. This particular product has a clear film backing. Some printers (generally the lower end home printers) can struggle to feed the clear backed product correctly. If you are using a cricut style machine to cut out your stickers (or having trouble with print feed) we strongly recommend the paper backed product. Some cricut machines can have difficulty with the product slipping while cutting and/or not adhering to the backboard.




This product is not designed for commercial or outdoor use. This is a hobby product and is designed for home use. Home inkjet printers typically use dye based inks which tend to fade quickly when exposed to direct sun or high amounts of UV light. Whilst it is not recommended some buyers do use it for commercial purposes by coating the sticker with an overlaminate or protective liquid to prolong fade life and enhance durability.
