Which Ink do I need?

Rihac offer 3 very different types of ink. Our original Platinum Dye ink for everyday use, Photo Pro Pigment inks for professional photographers in mind and Premium Sublimation ink for the entrepreneurial project makers.

 Can I mix inks?

No. Mixing any of our inks can damage your print head and Inklink system.

Can I change between ink choice?

Yes. However, you cannot mix the inks. We recommend changing the entire system.

How do I know which ink I have in my Inklink?

Dye inks have a transparent look while pigment & sublimation look more like a milkshake.

IMPORTANT PIGMENT & SUBLIMATION AFTERCARE!
Installation for pigment and Sublimation systems is recommended withing 1 to 2 weeks of purchase to stop the system un-priming and reduce the chance of blockages, Printers using any form of pigment and sublimation ink require regular use, more so than a dye ink printer. The formulation of these inks is complex and allowing a printer to remain inactive for prolonged periods can result in changes to the ink formulations fine balance.
