Have never done a review but now that I have just purchased my 4th CISS system thought I should give credit to Rihac for something that has saved me thousands of dollars now I am sure.
Four different printers over 10 years now -Canon IP3600-for Home. Epson T40W-for my eldest daughter for Uni in 2010. After 4 years of Uni and a couple of years break my 3rd daughter is now in her second year at Uni with the same printer and I think the 3rd refill. In fact I just bought her the 4th refill with the XP420 purchase.
Epson WF7010-to replace my home printer. The CISS kept going on the IP3600, the printer did not.
Finally have just purchased Epson XP420 and fitted a CISS (1hr). My 3rd daughter has just started Uni also and doesnt want to share a printer with her sister. She will have this for next 4 years and beyond.
I am sorry that Rihac dont sell the printers set up anymore unless you pick them up (I bought the WF2010 like this) but I have fitted all the CISS systems to the others myself without a lot of trouble. In fact -I'm getting pretty good at it now.
THANKYOU Rihac - Its actually the convenience of not running out of ink in the middle of a job and rarely getting clogging heads and having to change cartridges which is so attractive to having a CISS more than the hundreds of dollars saved in printing costs. You are always my first phone call when buying a printer - just to make sure I get one that you make a CISS for.
Rihac-You have been a shortcut on my Desktop now for years.
